Strawberry Tiramisu with Garden Tales Jam

Today’s blog suggests a different tiramisu recipe, which arrived just in time for your next summer party! A beautiful combination of fluffy cream with the delicate ladyfingers biscuits and our flavored strawberry jam!

Ingredients:

3 eggs
150 gr caster sugar
250 gr mascarpone cheese
1 tsp vanilla paste
1 tbsp dark rum
1 jar of Garden Tales Strawberry Jam
Fresh strawberries sliced
18 to 24 lady fingers

Syrup:
200 ml water
100 gr caster sugar
1 tbsp dark rum


Let’s get started!

Start by making the syrup, placing sugar and water in a pan and boiling for 5 minutes. Let it cool a bit until warm and mix in rum.

For the tiramisu cream, separate egg yolks from egg whites and add half the sugar to the yolks and mix well until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla, rum and mascarpone and stir until smooth. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then mix in sugar and beat until it becomes more like a meringue.

Add the meringue to the egg yolks mixture slowly and fold in gently.

Break the lady fingers in size matching the glasses you will serve the dessert. Pass them on the warm syrup and put them on the bottom of the glass.

Then spread a layer of strawberry jam and a few slices of strawberries. Top with the egg mixture and repeat layers one more time.

Place your glasses in the fridge for around 4 hours before serving.

You can decorate with fresh berries and meringue.
