Halloumi and fresh green leaves with mulberry jam

Try out, our new salad recipe with Halloumi and mulberry jam! Such a tasteful combination, that proves that our Fruit preserves, are not only intended to be for breakfast, and that a salad can be, as elegant as any other recipe!

Ingredients:
Halloumi cheese
A few twigs of white or red currant
Seedless red grapes
1 pear
Mix of green leaves like rocket and baby spinachgreasing
2/3 cup pomegranate seeds
For the salad sauce:
2 teaspoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons of Garden tales mulberry jam
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
A few drops of lemon juice
Pinch of salt

Let’s get started!
Wash the green leaves and let them drain.
Whisk all the ingredients with the salad sauce.
Heat the oil in the frying pan, add halloumi and fry over a medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden, then set aside.
Place green leaves on the serving plate. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper. Add on halloumi, 1 slice of pear, grapes, currants and pomegranate seeds.
Drizzle with the salad sauce and serve
